Podařilo se mi vyhrabat nezmenšené screenshoty z Rampage z 3Dfx 1.12.2000 / Q3A / první ogl drivery:

Docela nepekny artefakty v tech prvnych driverech . Udelali se pak pro tyhle karty nejaky poradny drivery, nebo ne? Jen tak na okraj

Vzhledem k tomu, že 3Dfx pár dní na to zavřelo krám, asi ne možná ale ještě stihli ještě něco vychytat, to nevím. Ale Italové mají nějaký lepší drivery - zřejmě to vychytali sami. Pár ukázek...

I worked for 3dfx and I designed this board.
If proof of this is needed I can verify that statement. The real problem is how? I could scan in my business card. Everyone who had 3dfx business card knows each person had custom clip art on the back of the card.
The photo is real. It is a rampage bring up rev01 board that only 10 were made. It had serious problems as you can see. It was rushed through design a little too fast and alot of corners were cut to get that P.O.S. you see in the picture ( not my decision - it was upper managments ). only 2 boards ever worked of the rev01.It lived for approx. 2 weeks until the rev02 design was done. Ther were about 10 - rev02's that we debugged and it ran fine. all the problems you see ( the clamp etc. )were fixed in the 2nd revision. The rev02 board screamed. We were laid off on Friday we had debugged that board till thursday night. It ran Quake3, It would have been a real threat to Nvidia due to cost and performance. We hit 250 Mhz DDR.
